SSGH Half-Bridge Semiconductor Strain Gages
Piezo-Metrics offers our SS semiconductor strain gages (5) different pre-mounted SSGH Half-bridge configurations for use in a wide range of applications. These devices utilize our SS semiconductor strain gages in Bending, Load and Torque configurations backed on FR4.
Key Specifications
- Available configurations: Bending, Load, and Torque
- Available gage types: SS-080 and SS-090 sizes; both "Bar" and "U" types
- Gage resistance: 120 Ohm to 10,000 Ohms
- Half-bridge matching: Up to 4 individual bridges can be matched for a custom configuration
- Sensitivity: 50 to 75 times higher than traditional metal foil gauges
- Thermal compensation: All four gages are matched, compensating each other thermally through temperature and expansion
- Material: Backed on FR-4 TG-250 (flex circuit)
- Custom options: Order multiple matched half-bridges, with all half-bridges matched to each other
