SS U Semiconductor Strain Gages
Piezo-Metrics SS-U semiconductor strain gages are made from "P" doped bulk silicon. This is a two terminal resistive device. The silicon is micro machined to shape, thus eliminating molecular dislocation or cracks, thereby optimizing performance.
